- I've been thinking a lot about spoken word and poetry again (spoiler: my opinion hasn't really changed).
- Working on a blog post about being a poet (and other easy things, like washing the dishes or ending world hunger).
I'll probably use this blog to whine about NaNo. You'll hear from me soon, friends.
Me too, although this is my first time. Doing ok so far. Although I am working on a novel I'd already started. Is that allowed?

DeleteTechnically, it's allowed only if you haven't started write-writing the novel. All the pre-work (plotting, research, etc) is acceptable.
Now, in a land where I don't give two fucks about technicalities, I believe that you work on what you are passionate about. If you have a novel you've been trying to write, work on that. NaNoWriMo is just a prompt to help you focus on deadlines, consistent writing, and finishing projects. Everything else is just dust in the wind.
